I went into the Bristol showroom several years ago, after drooling over the Fighter from a distance every time I went past. Amazing vehicle, just on looks, but when he opened the gullwing door for me, I was sold on it! I LOVE gullwing doors! It's actually a theoretically practical car. It has a hatchback, so you can get shopping/luggage in the back, adjustable suspension so you can raise it up over rough ground then set it back down when you're on tarmac. The "sports" version, the Fighter T, has a top speed (with the limiter turned off) of 272 mph.

The vw 2.0 diesel is a work horse. My wife drove an 05 up to 220,000. Didn't do an oil change for over 4 years, and still to this day thinks I'm full of it when I tell her it's time to change the oil again. She thinks because the VW didn't break down in those 4 years that oil changes are a myth.

Regarding the E60... you have to remember this aired around 2003-2004 when the base E60 first launched. It was a slap in the face compared to the majestic E39 of the time, the awkward angles etc. In modern times the design is now considered appealing of course.
